Heritage Springs Water Works, Inc. is a private utility providing drinking water to approximately 700 customers in the Town of Milton, NY.  Our water source is withdrawn from six groundwater wells at three locations in the Town of Milton.  Groundwater is pumped from the wells and treated with sodium hypochlorite as required by the New York State Department of Health.  The Department of Health routinely tests our water; bacteria testing is conducted on a monthly basis with other contaminants tested as required.  Information related to our water source, utility infrastructure, and water testing can be found in our Annual Report.
