A ¼ mile from our Clifton Park office Druthers Brewing Company has broken ground on their 5.3± acre | 10,000± SF restaurant and micro-brewery. Located on Southside Drive in Clifton Park, it is directly across from the entrance to the new 32-acre Town Center Park (also designed by EDP). The EDP landscape architecture | site engineering team provided the design concept, final site planning and an uncompromising conservation landscape design for this outdoor restaurant, bar, and extensive beer garden in Southern Saratoga County.
The space includes passive and active recreation dining options, offering enough space for things like bocce ball and yard games. There will be a natural landscape design featuring native plants, boulders, and a dry river bed. The retention of a large number of existing trees will provide a lush high canopy, creating a park-like setting. The design was very attentive to the Town’s development goals which are to provide a more bicycle | pedestrian-friendly commercial center. This was accomplished by replacing the prominence of large parking lots with attractive outdoor public spaces and walking paths. Druthers and the whole EDP team are looking forward to a 2022 grand opening.
