Broadalbin-Perth 2016-2019 Capital Project
The Environmental Design Partnership, LLP (EDP) was retained by CS Arch to provide site/civil design and construction related services for a proposed $40 million capital improvement project at the two Broadalbin-Perth Central School District campus locations.
At the Perth campus, the scope included more than doubling the number of parking spaces and adding a separate access road from County Highway 107 into the parent and visitor parking lot. The district also rehabilitated the existing baseball and softball fields, and expanded the walking trail to create an educational nature trail.
At the Broadalbin campus, the work included extensive athletic field work, including replacing the existing turf and resurfacing the track at Patriot Field, creating new baseball and softball fields, creating a 1.6-mile cross country trail with trail spurs for use as a nature trail, and adding an access road with parking adjacent to the new varsity baseball and softball fields. The work also included significant changes to the traffic patterns at the main campus as part of a larger effort to mitigate traffic flow issues at the B-P High School.
