Project Overview
EDP provided comprehensive site engineering and permitting services for the 1417 Saratoga Road Mixed-Use Community, a dynamic 34.5-acre development located at the intersection of Route 50 and Brookline Road in Ballston, NY.
Key Features & Services
- Site Planning & Design: Included grading, drainage, stormwater management, and utility coordination.
- Permitting: Managed multi-agency permitting with the Town, NYSDOH, ACOE, NYSDEC, NYSDOT, and Saratoga County.
- Mixed-Use Layout: The project brings together commercial, residential, and recreational uses in a thoughtfully connected layout, featuring mixed-use buildings with ground-floor retail with upper-level apartments, a 40-unit apartment building, a 24-unit apartment building, and a 28-unit townhouse community.
- Community Connectivity: Emphasized pedestrian pathways, outdoor amenities, and infrastructure upgrades for safety, accessibility, and sustainable stormwater performance.

The project creates a vibrant, connected community destination, blending commercial, residential, and recreational uses within the Town of Ballston.
